Round Robin Drive In in Ballard

Their food is handmade perfection. It's a food joint that's a local favorite of almost everyone in town and you can tell when they are open. The only open 3 or 4 days a week (depending on events in town). But, when they are open, they are very busy. Don't stop here if you need a quick bite. Plan on staying an hour or so. If you true fast food, go to McDonald's. If you want great food, then come here... when they're open.

This is an amazing place. The staff are always professional, courteous, and quick. I never wait long for the food, even when I have to call over and over to get in (the phone is always busy). The food is always piping hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. I would eat here every day if I could.

Best food ever ... The wait is just a lil long other then that great place to eat

Pros - One of the best fast foods in the Basin. They also serve food quickly for the amount of people who show when they are open. There is no drive through, but there is carry out.Cons - The only down side is they are not always open like normal fast food places. So check there website and call before making plans on eating there if you're out of town. They always have audio recording stating the days and hours they will be open. Enjoy and try their signature tacos or hamburgers. Most everything is homemade including their soda pops. Cherry lime is my favorite.

I wish I could give them 10 stars!!! The food is outstanding. Best burger I’ve had in a long time. Buns are delicious and meat is flavorful. Try the onion rings. Everything is clean. The bathrooms are especially clean! Great customer service! Very nice people.

Always great food with good pricing

This is a true hometown Wonder! They're only open a few days a week it's great. This place makes their own bread, onion rings, sodas, and pretty much everything else! They have a slightly different take on traditionals such as tacos and their grilled ham & cheese, But it's really good food. :-) Expect to wait because it's a very popular place! If you call in or come in and they give you a wait time it's exactly what they tell you every time. I don't know how they do it, but they're very well working business and very clean!

The food always tastes amazing

Always delish! Even today they had a power outage and still got the food out as quickly as possible by hooking up a generator. Always be ready for a small 15-20 minute wait because the food is worth it :-)

Small hamburger but delicious! Dries were amazing and the sauce is something special! Fast service!

THIS PLACE IS THE BEST!!!!! Best in the Basin or anywhere else in my opinion. I moved out of the area years ago but every time I am visiting my folks I eat here at least once or twice! I love this place! I went to a similar ma & pa fast food restaurant near my home called the Purple Turtle and man it made me wish I had some Round Robin! No restaurant chain big or small can compete with Round Robin! A+ food/service and the place and staff are CLEAN as a whistle! Best of the best!!!

The food here is amazing, everything on the menu is good. It's simultaneously the best burger place and best pizza place in town. My only complaint is the wacky hours and unpredictable closures. They've been closed the last two times I've been in town. I don't even know if it's true but we called this place Waco Burger when I was in high school because the rumor was that the bald guy that runs the place was always shutting it down to huddle with his followers for the Lord's imminent return.

Food was great and very clean

Tastes like coming home & better than home cooking. I crave this place, besides the great dinners menu, they offer an excellent & long list of drinks where I'm sure you'll find your favorite or likely a new one. Their slushes are the coldest around & have other frozen treats. The thing I always look forward to is what homemade items they offer which there's always something different. The customer service is above & beyond, sets the bar without doubt & the price is seemingly as old fashioned as the hospitality.

I used to love going there. If I ever get back to Utah and they are open, I will be going and getting a Steak and Swiss and the fries. Best food in the country.

Had a unique atmosphere. Food is good, fresh and hot! The hours are less than desirable but you get it when you can I hear! We just happened to be in town when they were open! Slushies are amazing!!

Onion rings are 5 star or better, burgers are really average or less, slushies are good and really cold.

Great food. Very busy but worth the wait! Everyone in the family loved the food. Please look at when they are open as they are not open every day of the week and appear to only be open during lunch hours.NOTE: a "hot dog on a stick" is literally that--a hot dog on a stick. It is NOT a corn dog.

Hidden gem..locals secret.. best fast food in the Uintah Basin.. homemade breads and cakes.. plan on around 45 min wait due to it is the locals favorite so it’s really busy.. truly worth the wait.

The best lunch in the Basin! The majority of all the food is home made. The taco or steak and swiss are the best meals. They have the best home made cocktail sauce!
